Vladimir Ditz 

was born to German parents in the southern Ural. 

 He received his musical education from V. V. Goryachkin and subsequently from Prof. E. E. Nesterenko at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. Even during his studies, Vladimir Ditz won several prizes at national and international singing competitions and captivated audiences with his voice in the finest concert halls of Russia, France, Germany, Finland, and Switzerland. In his opera performances, he was even compared to the legendary Chaliapin.
