Irina Grinjuk was born in a small Belarusian town. Her father, who possessed a beautiful natural tenor, instilled in her a love for music and singing from a young age. At the age of 7, she began studying piano at a music school. After graduating, she was accepted into the piano department of the Minsk Musical College named after Glinka, studying under Professor Inna Timofeevna Kruchina. However, her love for singing proved stronger. In 1990, Irina was admitted to the Belarusian Academy of Music named after Lunacharsky (class of Professor V.P. Rogovich). Even as a student (1992-1995), she worked as a soloist at the Belarusian State Theater of Opera and Ballet, where she performed leading mezzo-soprano opera roles, including: Olga ("Eugene Onegin" by P.I. Tchaikovsky); The Countess ("The Queen of Spades" by P.I. Tchaikovsky); Amneris ("Aida" by G. Verdi); Santuzza ("Cavalleria Rusticana" by Mascagni). Her repertoire includes a wide range of songs and romances by Russian and foreign composers. Upon completing her studies at the Academy of Music, she was awarded the degree of Master of Arts. Since 1996, she has been actively engaged in concert activities and participates in charitable events for the "Help for Children of Chernobyl" initiative in cities across Austria, France, and Germany. Currently, she is involved in teaching (training young vocalists)." |
