Alex Abaruth

Abaruth began his studies at the age of 17 at the Glinka Music College, in vocal classes by Prof. Adam Mursich and a year later got into the Academy of Music at the Conservatory Tchaikovsky in Moscow in classes of Prof. Hugo Tiez. During his studies he performed the title role in the comic opera “Le Cadi dupe” by C.W. Gluck. After he studied at the vocal department at the Conservatory Tchaikovsky in Moscow by Prof. E.Kibkalo. During his vocal education at the Conservatory with the outstanding pianist and concertmaster Prof. E.Shenderovich he prepared such title roles as Verdi's Rigoletto, Jermon from “La Traviata” as well as Grjasnoy in ”The Tsar's Bride” by Rimsky-Korsakov and Rachmaninoffs Aleko.

Since 1994 Abaruth has been living in Germany, where he has participated in several opera festivals, oratorio projects, musikfestspielen as Rossini in Wildbad, Kurt Weil in Dessau and published the CD’s and appeared on "German Radio". Abaruth has also great appearances in chamber music series by Franz Schubert's: "Die Schöne Müllerin" and "Die Winterreise" as well as in many international opera productions, festivals and classical concerts. Alex Abarurh currently resides in South Korea, he is distinguished professor of voice at the Belcanto Art Center by Suwon University.
